Phone Procedures
Brief phone calls for routine illness and care will be taken by the nurses. Doctor calls are returned within a reasonable time. However, if you have numerous questions and concerns, it is best to schedule an appointment or parent conference.

Appointments
Routine appointments can be scheduled in advance during normal business hours with the doctor of your choice. However, if this is your first child or your family is new to our office, we suggest you schedule subsequent visits with the other doctors to become acquainted with each one.

Sick child appointments or emergencies are scheduled the same day. We try to schedule your child with the earliest available appointment in order to take care of your child as soon as possible.

Please call ahead for all appointments and arrive on time. For new patients, physicals requiring labs, and if there are any insurance changes, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the necessary labs and/or paperwork. If additional children need to be seen please request appointment times.

Please notify the office if an appointment cannot be kept or if you are running late. Significantly late patients may need to be rescheduled so as not to cause others to wait. Unfortunately, sometimes emergencies and unforeseen problems occur and cause delays, so we will do our best to notify you if such is the case.

Payment Of Fees
We would appreciate that complete payment for medical services and care be made at the time such services are rendered. Please bring your insurance card with you to each office visit and notify us of any changes. Remember to add your newborn to your insurance policy by notifying your employer and insurance carriers of the baby’s birth. We do our best to verify all insurance information and benefits; however, it is ultimately the parent’s responsibility to keep updated on insurance changes and coverage. We are required by law to collect all co-payments and to bill insurance carriers properly.

Upon completion of your visit we will bill your insurance company. Co-payments and balance not covered by insurance are due at the time of service. An encounter form will detail the appropriate fees. Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We do understand that this may be difficult at times; therefore we have a billing service in the office. Please speak to the office manager regarding any financial difficulties.
